The Solar Spotlight utilises a solar panel to charge the battery, so there’s no requirement for a connection to electrical mains. While this modern lamp is auto-powered, the battery is also replaceable, so the light has impressive longevity in addition to its sustainable energy production.
The light is a dark grey painted die-cast aluminium, with a polycarbonate diffuser and peg for quick and easy installation into the ground. And with an IP65 rating, the Solar Spotlight is water-resistant and suitable for wet conditions, but please note they are not waterproof and should not be submerged.
Five to eight hours in the sunshine charges this light to its full, seven-hour capacity. When skies get darker, the Solar Spotlight’s dusk sensor is activated and the lamp enters energy saving mode with a softer, diffused light.
